I’m Agustí Sousa, an illustrator and teacher based in Barcelona. My work centres on drawing as a way of thinking and storytelling.

Working across illustration and graphic design, I combine analogue and digital processes to explore how ideas and narratives can be developed through images. I’m particularly interested in drawing, material-based practices, and the expressive possibilities of graphic media.

I see illustration as an ongoing process of exploration, where images take shape through technique, experimentation, and the decisions made along the way. I value the process as much as the final outcome: sketches, tests, mistakes, and unexpected discoveries all play a part in shaping each project.

Alongside my creative practice, I work in art education, where teaching has become another way of exploring drawing and visual thinking. I enjoy creating environments where people can experiment, develop their own visual language, and discover new ways of making and reading images.

I’m always open to new projects and collaborations. If you have an idea in mind, I’d be happy to hear about it and work on it together.
